Zorro Kit

Se encuentra en el norte de México pero también en las regiones semidesérticas del Sureste de los Estados Unidos, siendo Utah el estado con el mayor número de ejemplares. En México está catalogado como especie vulnerable ya que su población actual está disminuyendo a causa de perdida de hábitat.

Es la especie más pequeña de los zorros pesando entre 1.5 y 3 kg. Su cuerpo es delgado y tienen la cabeza grande al igual que sus orejas, su sentido del oído es el más agudo. Son animales nocturnos, se alimentan de roedores, conejos, peces, insectos y aves.

It is found in northern Mexico but also in the semi-desert regions of the Southeast of the United States, with Utah being the state with the largest number of specimens. In Mexico it is listed as a vulnerable species since its current population is decreasing due to habitat loss.
It is the smallest species of foxes weighing between 1.5 and 3 kg. Their body is thin and they have a big head just like their ears, their sense of hearing is the sharpest. They are nocturnal animals, feed on rodents, rabbits, fish, insects and birds.
